Palestinian Supporters Protest Kamala Harris’s Israel Involvement
On November 9, 2023, hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the Ritz Carlton to protest Vice President Kamala Harris's, who was attending a meeting there, stance on Israel. The United States has given billions of dollars in aid to Israel, causing outcry among Palestinian supporters. Chants such as "Israel bombs. USA pays. How many kids did you kill today?" and "Kamala, Kamala, you can't hide. You're committing genocide." were heard throughout the protest. Boston Police and Secret Service worked together to contain the protesters outside of the hotel. There were also a small amount of Israel supporters, but there was no conflict between the two groups.
